[ eiden is pretty sure he'd never be good enough to be tethered to fukuzawa in such a way. so he enjoys this for now, imprints the beat of his steady heart in his muscle memory, soft taps with his fingertips. his own pulse evens out eventually, settling into something steady and soft. ]

[He looks up to Eiden, curious.]

[ he huffs and just drops his head onto his shoulder. ]

Mmm, I just... wish I could just feel you the way I could the other clan members back home... when we get back home.

[ he slides an arm around him into a hug, not pulling his wrist away unless fukuzawa chooses to. home... it seems so far away. completely different places. ]

But that's probably not the way it works, so. This is just gonna have to be good enough for me.

No, probably not. We'll each have to go back to our own worlds.

[He feels a bit sad, but that's how it is. Eiden has duties in his world, and Fukuzawa has duties in his. Neither of them can give up on their people. It means an eventual parting, but that's not for a while yet and he just wants to make Eiden feel appreciated.]
