Not exactly. He went to the front lines and fought the most brutal battles of the war. I was further back, assisting in other ways.

But he took that refusal to go to the front lines with him as a personal slight, and he's held a grudge all this time.

So you refused to fight in the frontlines... and he's mad at you for it now?

[ he frowns, just trying to parse it out because why would you ever want you friend in the most dangerous part of a war? sure, you'd want to fight alongside them, but eiden knows what it's like to be pushed to the back forcibly when he wants to be at the front.

I don't think so. When I tried to talk it out with him he killed me. I think the only way to stop him is to strike him dead. He's too bitter and resentful to listen to reason.
