Well! Some rich dude sent our company this really expensive gemstone that he wanted us to design a whole specialty toy around [ i ] and like... I was handling the thing because I'm the designer and poof. I ended up on the Klein Continent.
I have no idea how I ended up here though. I'm about as lost as everyone else in that regard.

Yeah, it was super weird. Came in the mail and I was trying to examine it... ended up responding to some spell that Aster and Morvay were casting and I just. You know. Wrong place, wrong time. But it's... not with me anymore. [ he tugs at the leather string looped twice around his neck, where the bottom is empty now. ] I think Topper's a real gem though, so. Maybe I lucked out.
Don't really have one. Raised in an orphanage 'til I was old enough to head out on my own. So there's no family waiting for me back on Earth. Just like... some coworkers and a crazy job with no benefits and shit pay...
You never know who you're gonna run into. I'm cool with it. Promise. Besides, like... the people I've met on the Klein Continent really make up for it.
A lot of things, actually. Most of the time I use it for things like reversing or enhancing gravitational pull on objects or people. I can make a fire in a pinch, too, and change the way the breeze is moving. Recently I've been doing some really exciting research on both creating and sustaining localized wormholes, and quantum theory as it relates to stopping time, too.
