[ eiden lifts up a hand and just scritches him a little encouragingly. topper just looks at shu for another minute and seems satisfied, skittering back to just drape over eiden's shoulders gently. ]

Nope. Came from Earth originally. This super rich dude sent us a weird gem he wanted made into a specialty toy. I touched it because I wanted a better look and, uh... yeah.
