Anyway he's here!! And he is in his new outfit presumably. If I have to retcon this later no I didn't. He greets Eiden with a little wave, pausing to squint at the mime before he takes a seat.]
It would be nice. [It won't help, necessarily, but it won't hurt either. All they can do is keep going, and wallowing in misery won't get them anywhere.] Are you familiar with all the food here?
[ eiden is dressed in a less fancy version of this, with a few more artful tears and some sturdier boots. meanwhile wtf kaveh is so stylish. he does not stare but he does grin. ]
Yeah! Ended up getting a little excited... I stayed away from the specials and just kind of got a bunch of different things for us to try?
[ there are a few different pastries to choose from on a plate, kind of like a cute sample platter. they haven't been cut up yet, a little knife off to the side, but if you can dream it, there's probably something you'll like there. ]
That's probably for the best. I'd rather not embarrass myself a second time. [He says that but if there's good ~Special~ alcohol he will immediately buy it no matter what
BUT for now he looks over the offerings curiously! And he will reach for something with fruit on it.]
Some of this looks like food you'd find in Fontaine. At least, if memory serves.
