[ eiden is vibing somewhere in the food court or at a mcdonalds pick ur poison, with some receipt paper stretched out just doodling with a pilfered ikea pencil. topper is currently curled up snoozing.
[cuts up a pillowcase and makes a dashing outfit for Topper]
Yes, I'm fine. [He's not. But he usually isn't, so he's used to pushing through. He takes a seat, setting Mehrak down beside him.] It's just that nothing like this has ever happened to me before, so... [He shrugs.] I want to do what I can, but I admit I'm not sure what that means here.
[He's been helping wherever possible, but... there's only so much they can do when they're stuck here. It's frustrating.]
I don't think there's much for us to do for now... I've been taken from home before, but... I haven't been told that I'm dead right out the game. It's really weird.
I think it's a little too early to tell, and that's all I've got. Until we form teams, we probably won't get anything else from whoever brought us here. Or... however we got here?
[ did we all just mcdie at the same time? that's way too weird, so. ]
Yes, you're probably right. Hopefully we'll be able to get along with each other enough for that.
[Since he knows that SOMETIMES people DON'T LIKE TO WORK ON TEAMS, ALHAITHAM except he knows now that Alhaitham did actually work on a team... amazing... they grow up so fast.
ANYWAY. He snaps out of his thoughts and smiles in greeting.]
[Okay, well. Kaveh's calmed down a little after nearly getting in a fistfight with Rang out of Emotions; he's sitting at McDonald's with a half-finished latte, drawing something on a little IKEA notecard. He looks up when he sees Eiden and stops doodling, though he doesn't try to hide the picture; if Eiden looks, he'll see it's some kind of building, which probably isn't surprising. He gives Eiden a smile in greeting, though it's a touch stiff.]
[No, be nice, Kaveh. Don't be rude, Kaveh. You were already an unintentional asshole to the frog man, don't make a big deal out of this. It's a job! It's... re...spectable...? Kind of?
Ahem.
He clears his throat.]
It's good that you... are able to... be creative in with your work?
No, no, it's--you know, I think it's more worthwhile than a lot of other jobs out there. [This started off as a platitude but now he seems like he's talking himself into believing it] I can appreciate someone with a healthy respect for romance, even if it's... you know. [NOT QUITE THE SAME THING, but like. Close enough.] And if it's something you enjoy, that's even better.
