[ looking up to see kaveh, he thumbs back at the wall of colors! there are so many here? right now eiden is like vibing gently at a lulling frequency of just. sheer friendship. he's relaxed seeing kaveh. ]
Kaveh would not subject him to this either, if he had a choice--but unfortunately, the salon is too small to really keep his distance from properly. So as soon as they're within range, Eiden will probably be able to pick up on an undercurrent of exhaustion, sorrow, worry, and most of all, old, deep guilt. There's a pulse of happiness when Eiden calls out to him, but it's overshadowed by the shame and embarrassment that follow, knowing he's subjecting someone he likes to... all of. This.
...But hey, at least he looks cute! He's in his new outfit with his hair pinned up in a bun and his nails painted, with one of them in a flower design instead of feathers. Waow.
For his part, he tries, at least, to act like normal; he greets Eiden with a smile and a wave like he would on any normal day.]
Sure, I can give it a try. I'm not particularly well-versed in nail art, but we can come up with a decent palette, I'm sure.
[ unfortunately eiden cares A Lot about kaveh, he's like one of his favorite people here? sorry!!! the minute he's close enough, eiden feels it, that complex mixture of emotions. he turns on his heel towards kaveh, because the fact that it belongs to him fills eiden with a very easy-going warmth to push through it and mingle with it instead of walking away.
he's also wearing a new outfit (though the pants are a soft blue), with a cute silver watch as his accessory and dapper black, white, and light blue saddle shoes. he gives kaveh a smile and doesn't hesitate. ]
I'll bet. You've got a great eye for color. I mean, your nails look awesome, so who else would I want to take tips from?
[VERY CUTE FITS 10/10!! And even more than that, Kaveh is clearly relieved that he's gracious enough not to comment. His smile shifts into something more genuine, and he holds out his hand to examine it.]

[ god nahida did these? so impressive. there's a swell of that very feeling like man nahida is so neat. there's soon a warm sentiment of just being able to be with a friend today even though last weekend was pretty fucking shitty. (and the one before that wow... why is this becoming a pattern.) ]
I like light blue...? Silver? Mmm, anything that catches the light nicely.
That's a good combination. [He can work with light blue and silver! And in fact he will pluck both of those out, and, after a little thought, a couple of other shades of light blue along with some white.] Let's try these? We can test them out and see which one looks the best.
