And no matter what, she keeps trying her best for herself and all of her friends.
[It hurts to think about--but Kaveh's always been the sort to turn towards pain, rather than away from it. For a lot of reasons, not in the least of which is the certainty that he deserves to suffer.
That's his own twisted form of coping, though. And it's not something he wants to dump on Eiden, who has been through so much on his own already. So he squeezes Eiden's hand.]
