[ rng said we're at the ikea where eiden made the mistake of eating the frozen yogurt (it just makes you yearn even more for the broken machine at mcdonald's) and he just thunks his head on the table. ]

It's too close to home when the McFlurry machine is always broken.

... I keep hearing about this infamous broken machine and I'm wondering if this McFlurry is really so good? Can't help but feel like I'm missing out!

[ He's eating a cinnamon roll, warm and sticky. ]

You are—it's so good it just breaks the machine repeatedly, I think. Maybe they'll fix it eventually if we get lucky enough.

[ He's at the park, sitting on the swing, looking up to the sky that's littered with only a few stars. The lights seem to drown them out here.

However, Eiden can catch a whiff of cinnamon rolls. ]

[ cinnamon rolls... oh...

well, he's here, followed by a few little motes of light. he will join him here on the swings, sitting down carefully and dragging his heels. ]

Hey. [ nudging him. ] Having a snack?

[ When Eiden joins... He will see there are a lot of cinnamon rolls.

When he senses a presence, he perks up, even leans against the little nudge. ]

Yeah! Having something sweet after all of that.

[ But he hasn't touched any of it. ]

[ oh... hm... that is. weird. topper just squeaks a little, climbing up somewhere high to just survey, tail swishing quietly. ]

[ not me writing you a starter at the skatepark and you beating me to posting bless. eiden also whizzes by on some rollerskates, waving and nyooming to catch up. he is delighted by the skates, so he's in a pretty good mood for the moment. ]

[ HELP NOT ALL OF US CONVERGING. Vash's emotions are quiet before there's some curiosity, wonder, but more subdued than what his bright expression shows. ]

Mostly this, but I thought maybe taking them on a trip around the place. Would make exploring a lot faster.

That's a pretty great idea, there's a lot of ground to cover... not to mention it's fun as hell to go skating.

I kinda just learned earlier! Not quite good at it, but I think it's enough to get around.

It seems like the type of skill you forget if you don't keep doing it.

[ the loop! eiden claps because that was cool. he'll return the loop with one around him. whee. ]

Like riding a bike? Kinda!

We used to have to share one pair between us all, but it was so worth it. Feels good to go fast on just your own two feet.

Though I guess more people can do that now without skates, right?

I prefer walking over drifting, but it can be convenient when I'm lazy.

[ Mime... Cafe... Weird enough, Vash seems to be enjoying himself watching these mimes perform as he has his pastry. ]

[ ohhhh these mimes are. disturbing. i hate them. eiden is just curious so he's gonna nudge a chair close. ]

These guys go really hard.

[ one mime is pretending as they are preparing a very complex... baked good maybe? they keep rolling something out over and over again. ]

They're so professional, too! I've tried talking to them for an hour straight and they haven't uttered a noise.
