there's a salon and eiden has gone shopping at sears, so he's just giving a contented cat-like stretch upwards with a sigh. yes, he's very kim possible today minus crop top. when he sees val, he waves. ]

Hey, you wanna join me? I was thinking a spa day might be fun on a Monday.

[ oh god she's in a new outfit too but i haven't figured it out yet shhh ]

A spa day, huh? Yeah, I think I could do with one of those.

[ he'll happily show her the way to the smexy salon and wow this name is so unfortunate, but it's worth it for a little relaxation. ]

For a salon, they've got a lot of spa services. Not that I'm complaining. Especially when it's all free?

[ or at the least, she doesn't see anything about prices ]

Hey, if there's no price, then I'm considering it free. What're you thinking of hitting up first in here? We could paint your nails?

You know what, it has been a while since I had them done...

They'll probably get ruined in a few days, but hey, if I don't have to pay for it, then I don't care.

May as well enjoy 'em while we can right? It's a pain to paint your own nails so, want me to do yours?

Don't they usually have people who work there for that?

If you wanna get your nails painted by some creepy shadow person, I won't stop you.

Yeah. It just so happens that I do.

Fine then, you'll do.

Alright, go pick a color or two. I'm gonna grab a seat at the end.

[ because heehee... he's kind of excited! painting is relaxing, painting nails is fun. it all works out. ]

[ he's actually excited for this?? okay weirdo, but not like valerie can complain. she's the one getting her nails done, so the excitement is actually kind of infectious

anyway, after a few moments of mulling over her options, she goes with a dark purplish red and a bright summery orange ]

[ ohhhh these colors are good. eiden pulls them over to sit with the rest of the supplies he's got for this and has a better look. ]

Nice choices. You want an accent nail with one color or do you want them to alternate?

You fancy enough to do both on each nail? Like a gradient, or some kind of fancy French tips deal?

I can do french tips. The gradient might be too tricky for me. Sound good?

Sure. Now let's see how you do.

[ well the first hand goes off without a hitch. eiden seems really content to be doing something with his hands, and there's a very peaceful vibe coming off of him as he works. base coat going down before the first coat of color, nice and smooth. ]

Don't judge me too hard okay?

[ he's actually good at this, careful to keep the brush from flooding, and if it does, fixing things quickly once he's done with the first coat. ]

That looks pretty good. [ while he's holding her hand in his and kind of judging if the color is opaque enough. maybe another coat. ]

Huh. You're not half bad at this. [ holds up a hand to inspect the work so far ]

Was painting nails one of your old jobs too?

Nah... I used to go to night clubs pretty often. Dressed up, went dancing and stuff. Painting nails just stuck with me.
