We were working at some lab with a bunch of things called abnormalities...
And they were hard to deal with. Every time we died... we'd get brought back, but we'd remember everything. Apparently when that happens at the lab, you're not supposed to remember so we had to just. Keep dying and trying to figure out how to finish our tasks or break the loop...
It was just how it worked, I think. I guess it'd be pretty costly to keep hiring out. [ /joke ] We'd die and come back good as new... and the abnormalities...
Some of them would physically kill us, while some of them got into our heads. They tried to make us hurt each other... It was mostly them that got us.
