[ eiden just squeezes his hand briefly. it's fine. they can both be embarrassed together. he stays close, and before they set off, he hums. ]

I'm not disturbing you, right? Like you weren't just about to go to sleep or something...

[ eiden it isn't even that late. ]

Not yet. The others haven't settled down for the night.

[He lives with three rowdy teens and a monkey. Sleep never happens early.

[ moonlight bridge walk good. he feels so much happier than he did like 10 minutes ago. the mounting anxiety is slowly melting back down, and he just focuses quietly on matching their steps together because why not. ]

So um... thanks for hanging out with me at the museum the other day. That was really fun. [ he turns a bit to look at him, a smile on his lips. ]

[He is finding himself quickly growing weak to those smiles.]

Of course. I was curious to see what it offered, and having company made it more enjoyable.

[ looking away quickly, but his ears a bit pink. he's still smiling, like he's maybe a little proud. ]

You're easy to be around. [ shrugs ] I think so, anyways.

[Oh wow they match! Fukuzawa doesn't show his emotions strongly, but the pink ear tips don't lie.]

Yeah. [ swinging their hands quietly. it's impulse. ] It's weird, I just, feel like I could tell you anything and somehow it'd all be okay.

[ sheepishly ] Dumb, right?

Week 1, Thursday

[I am going to assume they are out and about together because they probably are, but at some point he will go ahead and ask:]

What do you plan on doing tonight?

[silicone]

[ water is wet the sky is blue and eiden is glued to this old man (he's in his 40s) old man. he hums a little thoughtfully and then: ]

I don't know actually. Last time my team was kind of worked up that I was locked in the Ikea with Yakumo, so I should probably figure out where to be just in case that happens again...

[ he tilts his head ]

Why, what were you gonna do?

I was thinking to stay outside. That way if that frog returns, it will be easier to get away from it. Possibly on the bridge or by the canals.

What do you think?

[He's not saying it but he wants to be near Eiden, to protect him from any danger.]

I wouldn't say it's dumb.

[Actually it makes Fukuzawa feel kind of happy, to be trusted like that.]

I can't promise everything will always be okay, but I can try my best.

[ uwah... fukuzawa........ but eiden does blink a bit, and he definitely feels the same. he folds his arms for a moment because man. thursday again? big problems. ]

That's a really smart idea. [ and kind of better than actually getting trapped in a place, right? is that better? he's not good at deciding this kind of thing, but he trusts fukuzawa. he bites his lip in thought and then: ] I can bring some snacks or something from the food trucks for us if you like.

[ he has inserted himself in this plan already can you believe. ]

[This works because honestly Fukuzawa would have stayed in the warehouse if not for Eiden.]

I'll be fine without snacks. But is there anyone else you would want to bring?

[ he glances briefly at his phone for a minute. ] Mm, could I bring Yakumo...? He's from where I was taken from and he gets a little anxious without me around.

...alright then. We'll both try our best.

[He's smiling softly as he says that.]

Of course. I believe I have spoken to Yakumo before too. He has black hair with red underneath, right?

[ he nods quickly ]

I think my team will be alright. Livio is with people from his world, and Simon and Amelia will be safe in the warehouse.

[He thinks nobody can enter the team warehouses if they're not from that team, even on murder night, so.]

he's so handsome when he smiles like that... and like period.

he may just kind of, hesitantly, place his head on his shoulder as they walk. this is nice. he feels... reassured. ]

[Oh help, that's kind of close and Fukuzawa is going to get a little awkward over it. But he clears his throat after a moment and speaks again, trying to sound cool even though there's a head on his shoulder right now.]
