anyways. i changed my mind, we're at the pet store where eiden is playing with the banana ball python, and by playing with it, we mean he's just vibing on a stool and letting it flick its tongue out at his face and just climb all over him. mood-wise, eiden is feeling pretty perky today. there are the occasional stabs of discomfort and unhappiness, but there's always a very resilient shine to his emotions today, which is apparently whenever wenzhou is close enough. ]

I don't know if he can gain weight in the UG, but I'm not risking him becoming even more spoiled than he already is. He's had enough fried fish and salmon. Time to get back on a diet.

Yeah, Kyoko said the bigger ones are usually female, and this one's pretty big, so I think she's a girl. She's really sweet.
Topper ditched me for the woods today, so I had to find some new friends.

Pythons are supposed to be pretty relaxed, right? [ he doesn't pat the snake, but he does ruffle eiden's hair in passing as he goes to investigate the cat food selection. ] With this place as an option, I'm going to try and keep Yiguo from getting into too much trouble. I feel like him running off into the woods is a bad idea, unlike Topper.
[ oh... there's a little swell of pride when his hair is ruffled, and the snake does a little thp thp thp when lwz gets close enough. eiden will hop off his seat and bring banana with him, deciding they can take a little trip down the cat food aisle together. ]
