NOTE: top levels are self-explanatory but feel free to reach out with any questions! please don't be afraid to just dive right in, we're all here to have some fun!
MINGLING means anything between chattering with each other, lazily making out, having fun with some of the provided refreshments etc. (which may or may not be laced with aphro depending on what suits your thread. mingling takes place primarily within the gilded cage proper aka the restaurant/bar itself. you might get to indulge in some like exhibitionism/voyeurism and other risque behaviors.
CAGES are for playing with any of the very horny birds who have gone to all the trouble of gathering everyone here, feel free to state whether you'd like two people to one cage or if you'd prefer to do it one or one. this is orgy-esque so make sure you're communicating with each other on who wants in on a thread. the cages themselves have been brought to a private room (description in the top level) so have at it.
WILDCARD is for anything you think doesn't quite fit. if you want to suddenly be stuck in a cage, that is absolutely a possibility here at the gilded cage. i'm sure there's a spare or two for someone accidentally to get trapped in (or maybe you accidentally buddy up with someone.) alternatively, if you'd rather go cageless, you can slide your thread in here too. these threads may occur either in the restaurant or in the private room, whichever you prefer.
AFTERMATH is for... the aftercare. maybe someone can volunteer their room or perhaps they can head to the baths after to relax some very tired bodies and clean up in general. less nsfw, more tender squishy things.

MINGLING

Gilded Cage is the Golden Peacock's largest restaurant and lounge. It promotes itself as the perfect location for late-night conversations, romantic moments over a shared meal, and serendipitous encounters. Diamond chandeliers glow in the light of burning candles. World-class photography adorns the walls. Ornate cages hang from the ceiling. An experience of its own, Gilded Cage offers a curated menu of artisanal cocktails, an extensive selection of old and new world wines, and decadent small plates. Equal parts upscale restaurants and lounge, event space and nightclub, Gilded Cage's elegant design delivers a venue that has something for everyone.
Specialty cocktails may include aphrodisiacs. Many of the decor flowers are supplied from the Cloud Dwelling Garden and may have aromas that will increase sensitivity, stimulate, or cloud judgement. Late at night they will perfume the lounge with scents that relax the mood. Private rooms are available for couples that wish to become intimate. Players are encouraged to imagine anything here that one would expect to find in a snooty upscale restaurant. Use and strength of aphrodisiacs is up to player discretion.
CAGES
Invitees to this particular closed event will find that a private room has been provided to the group, complete with comfortable seating arrangements that allow for a variety of lounging desires (seated, supine, etc.) There are refreshments here as well, ranging from delicate appetizers both savory and sweet as well as carafes of wine and mixed drinks. Do be careful, as with all things at the resort, many of them may have a touch of "love" dosed to them (aka aphrodisiacs.)
There is a sleek cabinet which, upon opening, one will find a variety of play things to keep the birds "enriched" of course, ranging from insertables (dildos, plugs, playful feathery tails attached to some of them) or other toys meant for sensation play (rods with feathers on them, canes, floggers, blindfolds, gags.) There are even some restaints if your particular partner won't stay still (ropes, silks, cuffs.) Of course, the keys to the cages are available without request, hung with care just in case someone needs a rest or wants to tap out and swap places.
With that, the room is yours for the evening to do with what you will. The contents of this room are not limited to this description, rather, these are just some delicious ideas to get you thinking. If there's something else you want or you have an idea for the group, feel free to reach out!
WILDCARD
As mentioned above, this room is dressed for both play and lounging. If there's something else you'd like to do or you'd like to engage outside of a cage (or even just have a conversation that's less horny and more idk meaningful, you can come over here.) People will be at rest in this particular section of the log, and you can lounge around, take a break, indulge in some food, and in general just curl up between rounds to enjoy the company of friends (and lovers).
AFTERMATH
After a very long evening of play, there's no need to immediately part ways. The group can find a pool together are Crane's Respite to knead and soak away all of the soreness, to clean up partners and bundle up in robes to just finish relaxing before the evening is done. Maybe you don't need to go back to your room alone tonight? Why not stay a while and take someone with you?
Below is a brief description of Crane's Respite, but we can play with the idea that they have gone in together as a group to get a nice big bath for themselves.
LOCATION DESCRIPTION
The Golden Peacockโs bath house. Stepping inside Craneโs Respite will take your character away to another worldโone of water, stone, and relaxation. The main hall of Craneโs Respite is home to dozens of bathing pools of different temperatures. Mud baths, salt baths, hot baths, cold baths, rose petals, jasmine oil, you name it. Every guest is sure to find a bath that suits their taste. Players are welcome to get creative with the baths available.There are several stone grottos expanding out from the main hall. Water pathways ribbon out from these grottos and surge into caverns and pockets, creating a water labyrinth for characters to explore. There are many pockets to take refuge in and relax throughout the labyrinth. Some pockets offer an experience for two, such as a salt cave where guests can scrub each other with natural salts. All water pathways lead back to a grotto and the main bath hall.
Some of the caves in the water labyrinth are strange. The mirror cave is a pocket where a massive mirror embedded into one of the stone walls. All reflections of characters in this place act strangely, of their own accord, looking at characters when they look away or acting differently than a reflection should. Some will even gaze at a character or whoever a character is with amorously. The creature cave has a separate pool within the stone platform, one that ripples with movement every so often. Rumor has it that something lives in there but none of the long-standing guests have any proof.
Players are encouraged to make up their own caves as well!
