[ topper, who is crawling up his shoulder, leans forward to say hello, squeaking like he's just havin a normal conversation before trying to get a sniff because he's truly just a little wild animal guy. ]

He's from the forest back home, hangs out with one of my friends. I feel pretty bad that he ended up here with me.

[ zelda loves animals, she will absolutely let topper do what the fuck ever. she extends her hand and lets the lil guy sniff, climb on her, just check her out and stuff. ]

I understand how you feel... but at the same time, he serves as a comfort, doesn't he? A physical reminder of your home... what you must return to.

Definitely. I'm grateful too, that's for sure. [ grinning ] And I think he really likes you. It's good for him to make friends too.

I've been told I have a way with animals. [ she smiles, giving topper scritches. aw yis. ] I'm not quite sure what it is... I simply treat them as I would any being, with the same kindness and respect that anyone deserves.

It's taken a long time, but I think I've really gotten to understand him. It just takes a lot of patience.
