Your magic and my ability are similar then. I can't use my ability on myself, but by giving it to those at the agency they have better control of their own abilities and can reach their max potential more easily.

[ eiden seems thoughtful about this for a moment, head tilted a little bit because the way that fukuzawa describes it, his ability does pull its weight. he can't help but get lost inside of his own head, but what he's said has at least abated this uncertainty for the moment. ]

[ well, eiden is just having a stroll through sears because it's enormous and he can just enjoy the general peace and quiet. the bigger this place gets, the easier it is to spread out and hear his own thoughts once in a while. he's dragging his fingers along some of the shelves and humming a little bit when he happens to see the back of fukuzawa's head as he rounds a corner.

Frustration will be coming off of him in waves, but that frustration melts away into familiarity and affection (with a tiny bit of anxiety, but it's dwarfed by the other feelings) about a second before Eiden speaks up. He's a former assassin, Eiden, he knows the sounds of everyone's footsteps.
